Sofana has over a decade of experience as a legal professional specializing in immigration law. She holds a BA in Political Science and English and an MA in English from Queens College. Having worked with immigrant women, domestic violence victims, and human trafficking victims, she developed a deep commitment to empowering women. Drawing from her own experience and legal expertise, Sofana is passionate about guiding women through life’s transitions. Outside of work, she enjoys creative writing, reading, photography, volleyball, and spending time with her daughter.
Amina Rashad, Esq.

Amina is a dedicated family attorney who deeply understands the emotional and financial challenges often accompanying family disputes. She received her JD from Brooklyn Law School in 2013. As the principal attorney at Amina Rashad & Associates, PC, she offers compassionate, expert legal representation in divorce, child custody, child support, spousal support, property division, prenuptial and postnuptial agreements, and domestic violence cases. Amina is committed to guiding individuals and families through difficult legal matters.
Mushrath Shaheen

Mushrath is the Co-Founder and CCO of Rivertel, and VP and COO of Thikana Newspaper. She holds a BA in Business Politics from St. John’s University, where she gained a deep understanding of the intersection between government, business, and public policy. Passionate about community engagement, she actively works to connect with and empower local populations through various outreach initiatives and news reporting. In her free time, she enjoys writing, playing the ukulele, and spending time with loved ones.
Nahrin Chowdhury

Nahrin is a dedicated leader in education with nearly 20 years of experience in NYC and LA school districts. A former math teacher and district leader, she has driven transformational change in underserved schools, focusing on educational equity. Nahrin is the founder of Unstressified, LLC, a stress management and consulting company dedicated to helping individuals thrive personally and professionally. She is also the author of Khalil & Alina: Tell Us About Bangladesh, a children’s book that celebrates family and heritage.
